I use the 1.4 magnifier with my old 90mm tele-elmarit and an external viewfinder with my voigtlander 21mm f1.4 both work just fine for me. I wont go into too much more detail now, but for saying that unlike the M240 and M262 that Ive otherwise used since the M9, the Leica M10-P really feels like it has []. The Leica M262 (and M240 or any other current M as of July of 2016) seems more like a bridge between the past and what could be the future of Leica. The M240 is wide and bulky. This happens with the M240 from time to time. A fetish with the M10 is its simplified menu. The M240 is a bit slow on the uptake, but I generally leave the camera on while on photo walks so not a real issue.Lock-ups. I do think the 262 files have an edge over the 240. When using the M10 in aperture priority mode I dial the EV down to -0.7. I will investigate that. Can you let me know where you heard that the sensor uses different technology? I didnt really need the better low light performance that the M262 offered, and was quite happy with the speed and output from the often lauded CCD sensor in the M9. It does this by digitally enhancing the image output. I currently shoot with a Fuji X-Pro2 and love it. I have a Fuji X100f and stripped down the OVF/EVF data and shoot in manual with manual focus only to give it a M2 feel. In the run up to buying an M10 Ive been reading a lot of reviews, and have found the M262 is rarely mentioned in them. Pera I think you might be giving a little to much benefit of the doubt there . A m262 is limited to the lens choice as it rangefinder view only. Yes, the M240s menu is busier, but once I have the camera set up to my liking I dont really venture into the menu often.
